THE GOVERNMENT AND LAW OF GOD
Two subjects which concern us greatly are those of law and government. Upon what is government based? How does law operate? Referring to the divine government, Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 379), "The real jurisdiction of the world is in Mind, controlling every effect and recognizing all causation as vested in divine Mind."
All true government is God's government. In the kingdom of God there is no other government. Since God is good, as the Scriptures declare (see Ps. 25:8), then the control of good can be demonstrated in every situation.
The Apostle Paul said (Rom. 8:28), "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
