Open Houses Help to Make Them Better Known
[Note: Extracts from two reports prepared for the Reading Room Division by branch church librarians]
Norwalk, Connecticut
We are grateful for the fruitage from our open house, demonstrating unity within this field. All the neighboring Christian Science churches were represented. There was a constructive sense apparent, an eagerness to learn in order to give. Guest librarians took with them fresh concepts with which to benefit their communities.
Attractively grouped on the study tables were the countless treasures not always visible to the Reading Room visitor who comes in bent on a single purpose or to make a solitary purchase.
