The
changes which are taking place today startle even the imagination.

apart from this mortal dream, this illusion and delusion of sense, Christian Science comes to reveal man as God's image, His idea, coexistent with Him—God giving all and man having all that God gives," writes our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, on page 5 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany.

Protection
from hurricanes and other phases of evil is available through the power of spiritual law, as indicated in the ninety-first Psalm.
When
one who is in physical, moral, or mental distress asks for help in Christian Science, and the metaphysical treatment or prayer is begun, the greatest power in the universe is being brought to bear on the problem—the power expressed in the Word of God.
Jesus' human life was one of constant preparation for his demonstration of life eternal.
Two
subjects which concern us greatly are those of law and government.
At a meeting in 1879, on motion of Mary Baker Eddy, it was voted, "To organize a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing".
To ensure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department regarding lectures in the United States and Canada at least seven weeks before the date of the lecture; elsewhere, eight to eleven weeks.

While living in a country where there were no Churches of Christ, Scientist, I felt especially grateful to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for establishing the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," as the impersonal pastor of our church.
With a grateful heart I give thanks for Christian Science.
With a heart overflowing with gratitude I should like to tell just a bit of what Christian Science means to me.
Before I became interested in Christian Science, I usually suffered once or twice a year from a severe inflammation of the throat.
With a heart full of gratitude for the priceless gift of Christian Science I submit this testimony.
It is my desire to share an account of benefits I have received through relying entirely on Christian Science to meet my every need.
