LOVE'S PERFECT SUSTAINING POWER
A Good father lovingly provides food, shelter, clothing, education, for his child, and a good mother tenderly rears her child, shielding, protecting, and instructing him. Thinking of the love of our human parents enables us to glimpse the care of the omnipotent Father-Mother Love. Our divine Parent, the perfect Mind, or God, maintains His child forever in a state of perfection. Knowing this truth gives us inspiration and a great expectancy of good.
The student of Christian Science desires unfoldment. Each day he hopes to comprehend more clearly the great realities of being. The realization that omnipotent Love perfectly sustains its creation brings constant unfoldment to light. So we should think often of Love's sustaining power.
Worry and apprehension are dispelled as we contemplate the fact that Love maintains man as a perpetual idea of good. As we think about Love's constant care, angel thoughts come to us. These powerful angels lift us above belief in lack and other phases of discord and supply us with health and abundance. A student of Christian Science proved that as God's idea he is perfectly cared for by omnipotent Love's perfect sustaining power. This truth brought peace into his thought and much good into his experience.
