With humble gratitude I wish to testify to the many blessings my family and I have experienced through Christian Science.

Several years ago I experienced a wonderful healing. A member of the family who was not a Christian Scientist called a doctor, who diagnosed the condition as an abdominal growth. He wanted to take me to the hospital for an immediate operation and said that if I did not have an operation at once, I would die in a short time.

But I refused all medical help, for I wanted my healing to come through God alone. I clung steadfastly to the thought of God and His idea and to the words on page 167 of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized." I held to the truth and earnestly examined my thinking. Resentment and other unloving thoughts were laid aside, and I learned to watch my thinking by recognizing only God, good, as true.

With the aid of a Christian Science practitioner, who stood by me with much love and patience, I experienced a complete healing within a few weeks. I should like to add that I had no recourse to any material aid whatsoever, but was healed solely through divine Science.

Through the help of a practitioner, my daughter was healed of arthritis and also of suppuration on both sides of her jaw, for which she had been told that she would certainly have to undergo an operation. In addition, our home has become more harmonious and peaceful. I am deeply grateful for Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Friederike Jaisle, Löchgau, Wűrttemberg, West Germany.
