Some years ago I injured my right arm at the elbow. The arm was apparently fractured, though no X rays were made. For a few moments the pain was excruciating, but I silently declared the truths I had learned from the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. At the time, I was visiting a family the members of which were not students of Christian Science, but they knew I was Later, when I arrived home, I took the textbook and studied for about an hour until all pain and discomfort vanished.

For a while the arm was useless. Each day I spiritualized my thought, and after a few days I could use my hand to hold a spoon or a fork. Within a month I could use my arm as before. Great spiritualization of thought followed this healing.

About nine years ago I came down with what would probably have been diagnosed as double pneumonia. I was living in the country, and a dear practitioner visited me every other day. A sister, who is not a student of Christian Science, attended me. She saw the power of Truth operating, and her fears for my recovery were lessened as she listened to the truths voiced by the practitioner. Before long I was free.
