For a number of years it has been my privilege to enjoy the helpful testimonies found in our periodicals. I feel it is time for me to share some of the joy that has been mine in the hope that someone may be blessed through the love that has prompted this testimony.

Many years ago I was healed of what the doctors pronounced a rheumatic heart. This healing came through my reading the Christian Science textbooks, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The healing has been permanent. I read the weekly Lesson-Sermon, given in the Christian Science Quarterly, faithfully, although at first with little or no understanding. Some of the statements from the Bible and from Science and Health would often come into thought. However, I did not associate them with the still small voice of Truth, which was gradually changing my outlook on life.

One such statement was from the Bible (Matt. 6:33), "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." How grateful I am to have had this angel visitor! It was an almost daily companion.
