Visitors Welcome
Chestnut Hill, Mass.—Mrs. Eddy's late residence at 400 Beacon Street contains an exhibit room on the second floor where items tracing the growth of the movement from its earliest days to the present are displayed. This house is open daily, except Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m. During the months of December, January, February, and March the hours are from 12.30 to 4 p.m. It is closed on all holidays with the exception of April 19, May 30, June 17, and October 12. When these dates fall on a Sunday, the house is closed on Sunday and open on the Monday observed as the holiday. Cards of admission required, obtainable at Administration Building, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Monday through Saturday.
Lynn, Mass.—The former home of Mary Baker Eddy at 12 Broad Street is open to visitors daily, except Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. During the months of December, January, and February the hours are from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. It is closed on all holidays with the exception of April 19, May 30, June 17, and October 12. When these dates fall on a Sunday, the house is closed on Sunday and open on the Monday observed as the holiday. This house, including the little attic room where Mrs. Eddy completed her work on the first manuscript of "Science and Health," has been carefully rstored to present the highest possible point of historical accuracy.
Washington, D. C.—The Exhibit Hall on the second floor of the Christian Science Building, 1601 I (Eye) Street, N.W., open free to the public daily, including holidays, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. On Thanksgiving Day, Christmas. and New Year's Day the hours are the same as on Sunday. Among the exhibits providing glimpses of the origin, scope, and healing ministry of Christian Science are the Vitaramas showing the world-wide activities of the Christian Science movement and the "listening chairs" in which visitors may sit and hear selected recordings not only in English, but in French, German, and Spanish.
Radiocast Lectures
In order that radiocast lectures may be announced in the Sentinel in time for pickup in countries outside the United States, will churches expecting to give such lectures send this information to the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department at least three months in advance of date of lecture, and four months if possible.
