"SEE THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER"

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Holly was a happy little girl who loved everyone, and she was usually loved by all.

One day about the middle of the school term, Holly's schoolteacher told her that she felt Holly was ready to go into a higher grade. The teacher had already talked it over with Holly's parents, and all agreed that it was the right thing to do. However, thoughts of jealousy and envy came to one of Holly's best friends in the class.

Holly's little friend whispered to the other girls in the class and tried to make all of them keep Holly out of the group games in the schoolyard. And she told Holly that she did not think it would be any fun to skip a grade. Error was trying to confuse Holly and make her believe that these unloving thoughts were part of her good friend's thinking. She was sad and lonesome.
