HIS WITNESS
Can
I see beauty
Where no beauty seems to shine?
Do I know Truth,
See as illusion error's false design?
Deny each small temptation, rise and sing
Till Love's correction can its blessing bring?
If I can look through ills and sense of self
With purer eyes and see the perfect man,
Bring healing answer to my brother's need,
Pattern each purpose to the Father's plan,
In patient progress rise from matter's dream
And see instead Love's realm of Spirit there,
Then I can know myself as I am known
And faithful witness bear.
