Impressive Outposts of Our Movement
[Extracts from a report prepared for the Reading Room Division by the librarian of a branch church]
Glencoe, Illinois
Desire to be obedient and willingness to accept the recommendation of the Reading Room Division instigated and aided in our bringing to fruition the complete refurbishing of our Christian Science Reading Room during the spring of 1955.
Several years ago in a talk with the Manager of the Division, the librarian learned that the floor of our display window needed raising a foot or more in order to provide greater comfort in reading and a better level for displays. Gradually, this helpful recommendation, combined with the need for redecorating and refurnishing our Reading Room, led our board of directors and membership to approve this important step. The blessings and proofs of God's guidance every step of the way were evidenced with gratifying results.
