How Prayer Can Help You

Prayer can help you. Prayer can bring you freedom from whatever may seem to bind you, whatever your situation may be. If you are faced with trouble—with sorrow, pain, lack, sin, discouragement, or difficulty of any other kind —you can be helped in a practical way when you turn to God understandingly in prayer.

The healing and restoring power of true prayer has been demonstrated in the lives of sincere men and women throughout the centuries. Prayer knows no boundaries, no limitations of age, space, or time. That is why your life can be made whole, your health preserved, your character purified, your home and your relations with others made more harmonious, fruitful, joyous— through the power of prayer.

Nothing is too hard for God, divine Love. God's tender, healing power is present and available right where you are. As we read in Isaiah (41:10), "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
