As one who has been a beneficiary of the matchless blessings of Christian Science for a period of over thirty years, I want to express my deep appreciation for its healing power, protection, and guidance.

In my late teens I came into disagreement with the teachings of my orthodox church and made up my mind I would have nothing to do with a church until I found one that could give me a concept of God that I could accept. Soon after coming to America from Australia in 1919, I was invited to attend a Wednesday testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist. This was my introduction to Christian Science. I heard statements from the desk and in the testimonies from the floor that caught my interest and induced me to attend further testimony meetings, as well as Sunday services, and to take up the study of Science.

After only four treatments from a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of a serious eye condition for which I had been under the care of an eye specialist in Australia for a long time, without gaining relief. My wife soon became a student of Christian Science, and we have continued its study and enjoyed the blessings of its teachings all through the years, during which time there has never been a doctor or any medicine in our home for either ourselves or our son, who was brought up in the Christian Science Sunday School.
