I have had so many beautiful experiences and healings through the application and demonstration of Christian Science that in gratitude I should like to share one of these through the avenue of our Christian Science periodicals, provided by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

About two years ago our daughter, age nine, awoke one morning with a fever and found it impossible to turn or move her head without pain. She requested that I call a Christian Science practitioner. I did, and the work was lovingly taken up. For a period of about four days this condition grew steadily more alarming until she was unable to move her body without great pain.

My husband was not a student of Christian Science at the time. Both he and I were very fearful, but the loving support of the practitioner reassured us. On the fifth night I was led to study the allegory of the trial found on pages 430-442 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. While I was studying this account, it was uncovered to me that our child was suffering from extreme fear, caused by an inharmonious relationship between her father and myself. When this fear was recognized, I felt a great desire to correct the situation and to bring peace and harmony into our home.
