I write this testimony with a very grateful heart to our Father-Mother God for leading me into Christian Science. My first healing in this Science came after I had been studying our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for about a year.
I had suffered from sore throat which very often kept me from my work. One of the attacks was worse than usual. I thought of asking for medical help when this thought came to me: "Why not read Science and Health?"
At once I took up the book and opened it at page 296. where I read the words, "Progress is born of experience." I had been yearning for more progress in Christian Science, and now this experience afforded an opportunity to have it. I was filled with such joy that I was healed instantaneously.
