I write this testimony in gratitude to God and as a witness to the fact that through the application of Christian Science, happiness and health are present possibilities.

When my oldest daughter was born I was told she had improperly formed feet. The physician in attendance said he had never seen anything like the condition and could find no record of anything like it in his medical books. She was completely healed in less than ten days' time by the work of a Christian Science practitioner who lived in another town and who did not see her until a much later date.

One morning while I was doing my housework the suggestion repeatedly came that my life was in danger. I realized that I should not just ignore the suggestion, but reverse it through prayer, as we learn to do in Christian Science. Knowing that God is an ever-present help and the only power, I declared that because He is eternal Life, He not only gives life to man, but sustains it as well. And I knew that evil cannot destroy what God gives. I prayed until I was sure that the suggestion of danger was dispelled and all sense of fear removed.
