My husband introduced me to Christian Science. I had been a medical nurse and had attended an orthodox church, but I was not satisfied either with my religion or with what I saw of the medical world. When I learned of Science, I knew I had found that for which I had been searching, and I was content.

With gratitude and humility I give testimony to the healing power of Christian Science. It healed me of a tumor, deafness, heart trouble, sinus trouble, and a serious nervous breakdown, as well as of a bad condition in my shoulder and arm, the effect of an accident. Severe headaches and colds were also healed, and social drinking was overcome. Our children had rapid healings of measles, whooping cough, and scarlet fever.

At one time I suffered an attack of what I believe would be called paralysis of the legs. The attack came suddenly, and I was in great pain. Although I could hardly move, I called a practitioner. The healing was instantaneous, and in the twenty-five years since then there has been no recurrence of the condition.
