I am truly and sincerely grateful for the joy, happiness, and daily unfolding of spiritual growth that have come to me through the earnest study and application of Christian Science. When I was in the depths of grief and ill-health this thought came to me: "Try Christian Science." Immediately a friend who was a student of Christian Science was contacted, and she very lovingly helped me along the path from sense to Soul.

My first healing was of a troublesome stomach ailment. This disappeared when resentment toward a dear one was uncovered and removed by declarations of Truth as taught in Christian Science. Hay fever of many years' standing was instantaneously healed when I took my stand as a Christian Scientist. The use of the "Daily Prayer," given to us in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, was especially helpful in this experience. It reads (Art. VIII, Sect. 4), "'Thy kingdom come;' let the reign of divine Truth, Life, and Love be established in me, and rule out of me all sin; and may Thy Word enrich the affections of all mankind, and govern them!"

I have had many other proofs of God's care in healing various ailments, in establishing a harmonious home and pleasant business associations, and in overcoming grief, worry, and fear. Every need has been adequately met when the truth has been properly applied and adhered to.
