Before becoming interested in...
Before becoming interested in Christian Science I had some very unpleasant experiences with ivy poisoning, and I became afraid even to go into the woods. The medical profession could give me no help. After I became interested in Christian Science, my fear of poison ivy was overcome, and I am very grateful not to have passed this fear along to my children.
One day, about two years ago, while working in my garden, I saw some poison ivy. I felt that I must do something about this; so I put on rubber gloves and cut the ivy all out. Then I forgot about the incident. However, that night I saw a big red splotch across my forehead and several other red spots on my face and neck, and they all itched.
