The Christian Science Board of Directors with contributions from Max K. Gilstrap, Louise Wheatley Cook Hovnanian, Harold Molter

The meeting was opened with the singing of Hymn No. 71 in the Christian Science Hymnal, "Glorious things of thee are spoken." Harold Molter, Associate Editor, The Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, who presided as chairman, then read a letter of greeting from The Christian Science Board of Directors and a keynote message from the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society.
