In April, 1926, my testimony appeared in The Christian Science Journal. The two children I spoke of then are now grown, and as parents they are raising their children in the blessed truth that they themselves have proved and loved all these years. Our son spent three years and seven months in the Pacific zone during World War II and had many proofs of God's protecting love and care.

About two years ago I was taken seriously ill with stomach trouble, accompanied by a nervous breakdown. My husband and children were a wonderful help. None of them ever gave in to fear. The truths they read to me and the hymns they sang were a great help. I am so grateful for the love and kindness shown to me by the practitioners who helped me at different times during about five months of this testing experience. When they were called at any hour of the night or day, their response of love and helpfulness was indeed inspiring. I was forced to dig deep into the Bible and into Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Not only was I healed of the stomach trouble and nervousness, but a fistula that I had had for many years disappeared.

I am very grateful for class instruction and the annual association meetings. One thing my teacher told us which has helped me many times was this: "You can disbelieve the laws of Truth, but you cannot change Truth any more than you can change the laws of mathematics by disbelieving them. But you will not be able to use the laws of Truth while you disbelieve them."
