With him were also other little ships,
And safety, by the Master's calm commanding,
Embraced them too. And still his word outstrips
The stride of storm. And evermore expanding,
Also for other towns the Master's preaching
Leapt forth. And down the centuries there rings
"The works ... I do shall he do also." reaching
Toward global proof where all are priests and kings.

The flood of Spirit flows and overflows,
No power can block with boundary its blessing.
When self is silenced, unselfed giving grows
To primal and omnipotent expressing,
Which flings from heart to heart, from place to place,
One ardent "also," comradeshipped in grace.
