Some thirty years ago I told a friend, whom I knew to be a Christian Scientist, that I had a nervous headache, called migraine, and that the pain was terrific.
How wonderful it is upon awakening each day to establish in our consciousness the truth concerning God and man! In the Bible we read.
In 1941, I had the joy of coming into Christian Science, which has transformed my life and that of my family.
"The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein".
While on a business trip in a large eastern city far from my home I was asked by a business associate, "Would you depend totally on Christian Science in the event of an attack of appendicitis or an accident of some kind?
I am very grateful for Christian Science and for the woman from whom I first heard of it when I was a girl.
When Christian Science was first presented to me, I accepted it wholeheartedly, not because I felt in need of physical healing at the time, but because of the great joy it awakened in my heart.
I am grateful for the many times I have been healed in Christian Science.
One
of Whittier's biographers has observed that Whittier "was not a poet of religion, but a man in whom religion was vital.
