THE GUESTS OF GOD

Within the realm of holy thought
This hour has led the way
From out the darkness of distress
To Spirit's perfect day.

No yearning hearts nor bodies bent
And burdened by earth woes,
But joy for every child of God
That sacred sonship knows.

With healing in the wings that stir
The impulse of our prayer
We meet a loving brotherhood
Upon a mounting stair.

And now within this hour we find
That wisdom's proving rod
Has guided us to heaven's gate—
We are the guests of God.
