GOD'S IDEA IS ALWAYS PERFECT
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Ruth and Arlyn had a kitten named Puff Ball, which they loved very dearly. Puff Ball had a quiet, gentle nature and was much loved by all the neighbors.
One day a new family moved into the neighborhood with their dog, Mike. Now Mike had never really known any cats before, and he was afraid of Puff Ball. He chased her and hurt her quite badly. Bringing the kitten in a basket, Mike's owner came to Puff Ball's home and offered to take her to the animal hospital. But the girls' mother thanked him and said that they would take care of Puff Ball.
Ruth and Arlyn had both attended the Christian Science Sunday School for four years. They knew that God, divine Mind, made everything, and that He "saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good," as the Bible tells us in Genesis (1:31). Just the Sunday before, their teacher had told them that no matter what our material eyes seem to see, in reality good is always present. Because God, good, is the only creator, His creation must be perfect, and error is never true.
