I have felt the healing and protecting power of Christian Science ever since it came into my life thirty-four years ago. From the first I was guided by a wise practitioner to study conscientiously and regularly the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, to subscribe for and read the periodicals, to attend church services regularly, and to take advantage of all the other opportunities for spiritual progress. Consequently I have experienced progressive demonstrations of the truth, including many physical healings.

Some of my early healings were those of periodic sick headaches, boils, carbuncles, and a chronic abdominal condition which gave me much pain and discomfort. Throughout all these years I have never taken medicine or had a physical examination, except in the purchase of life insurance.

Holding to Truth through years of business problems brought innumerable experiences of God's loving care and provision. I was enabled to enter a line of work for which I appeared unfitted and to make of it a considerable success. The struggle to solve problems through the years has unfolded talents and abilities which were unsuspected and which would probably have remained dormant had I not been forced to progress.
