For a long time I have had an urge to send in a testimony for publication. I am filled with gratitude for the marvelous change that the study of Christian Science has made in my life and for the privilege of working for the Cause through membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. The privilege of serving a branch church in different capacities has increased my appreciation of Mrs. Eddy's discovery, which she has made available to all mankind.

I was far along in my earthly existence when I became interested in Christian Science. For many years I had labored diligently and energetically under the direction of mortal mind. Like one performing on a treadmill, I was finding plenty of action, but getting nowhere, from any point of view. I had no home, no supply worthy of mention, and according to the verdict of two prominent doctors I had an incurable heart disease.

At that stage of despondency I called on a Christian Science practitioner, who took my case. Within the week the heart disease was healed, and I was able to go back to work again. Many other blessings followed in rapid succession.
