RADIO PROGRAM No. 112 - Persistent Prayer Wins a Victory

On this program Mrs. Mildred Morgan Bemis of Boulder, Colorado, told of her own experience. The program was as follows:

Speaker: More and more, people are discovering that it's possible to heal sickness through prayer alone, without resorting to other means. However, very often the prayer that brings healing requires much honest, patient effort. But anyone can learn how to benefit through such prayer. We can have successful results when we learn how to pray persistently, faithfully, with spiritual understanding. Our guest today had an experience which proves that this is true. Now here is Mrs. Mildred Morgan Bemis of Boulder, Colorado. Won't you tell us your experience?

Mrs. Bemis: One spring in my early teens I became ill with a serious nervous disorder called St. Vitus's dance. Our family physician did all he could to help me, but finally decided that I would never get well in the high altitude of our mountain country. So my parents sent me to stay with my grandmother in the East, hoping that the low altitude, complete change, and long months of rest would benefit me. I did improve slowly and in the late summer returned home to re-enter school.
