Our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (Pref., p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." This has indeed been my experience, and I should like to share some of the blessings Christian Science has brought me.

When I first took up the earnest study of this Science, I was going through very deep waters. I had for many months been suffering from a severe form of dysentery, which prevented my living a normal life and which nearly resulted in my passing on. However, just when things seemed at their darkest, I turned to Christian Science, which I had known of for some years but had not accepted until that moment. Through the prayerful work of a practitioner, right thoughts began to replace the many wrong ones by which I had been beset, and I was healed.

Within three months of turning to Christian Science, I was able to return to full-time employment, and our family affairs steadily improved. While my fear that the disease might return took a little time to overcome, I was finally able to see its nothingness.
