My family and I have had many blessings through the study and application of Christian Science. Sometimes healings have taken place through our own prayerful work and sometimes through the help of a practitioner. At a time when houses were scarce, my husband and I were able to find one that exactly suited our need. This result was due to our holding to the fact that home is heaven, harmony, the expression of love, companionship, beauty, security, and peace. Since these are qualities of the one Mind, God, man as God's reflection certainly possesses them at all times.

Almost constant headaches were healed when it was pointed out to me by a practitioner that if my motives were pure, I could not be subjected to the pressure of mortal mind. I learned that the responsibility for each of God's ideas lies with our Father-Mother God.

About three years ago a heavy metal door was slammed on the fingers of our youngest child, almost completely severing the ends of two of them. A Christian Science practitioner, whom we knew, was immediately called, and she asked me to put the tips of the fingers in place as well as I could. She calmly and lovingly assured me that the child need suffer no discomfort. From that time on, as far as I recall, the child was not in the least uncomfortable because of the accident. The following day there was nothing but a slight red mark on each finger. Even the nails were normal. The healing was complete, and it has been permanent.
