I am very grateful to the dear friend who presented Christian Science to me. In relying on it for many years I have had numerous physical healings and experienced much protection. My way has been rough at times, but when I have taken my stand for Truth, healing has always followed.

My first healing, that of shingles, came after one visit to a Christian Science practitioner. Another healing was that of a dislocated knee, which I had had from childhood and for which I had worn a protecting cover for years. This healing was also brought about through the help of a practitioner and through the realization that, as Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 423), "Bones have only the substance of thought which forms them." It was a joyous occasion when I discontinued the use of the cover, but even more wonderful was the spiritual uplift as I came to understand that all power belongs to God and is manifested in man's behalf.

The following experience proved to me that when we realize that supply comes from God our needs are abundantly met. During the depression I received a letter from the branch Church of Christ, Scientist, of which I was a member. It stated that there was a financial need to be met. Since I had only a small amount of money, I did not see how I could help. However, I worked along the line that supply comes from God, divine Mind, and that there can be no lack. Then I made a donation to the church. I have never lacked anything which I have needed since that time.
