I have a great desire to give thanks to our loving Father-Mother God that I was led to Christian Science. In addition I should like to tell of some healings. One day I went to an optometrist for glasses. He examined my eyes and then said: "I cannot help you with glasses. You are going blind." I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner and held to the truth that man's sight is spiritual, that it is a gift of God and cannot be lost. My eyes caused no further trouble, and for years I saw perfectly.

Then one day I was called to do some work in the home of a friend who was a practitioner. As I walked down the street my eyes felt strange, and I could barely see the objects in the street. When I reached my friend's house, my sight had gone, and I told her I could not do the work I had intended to do for her. We had a little talk, and she read from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Then my sight returned. How very grateful I was to see!

Eight years ago my eyes became very dim, and I was again told that I was going blind, this time because of a cataract. I did not fear and had no medical treatment for my eyes. I knew I was protected by divine Love. Before long, my sight was again normal. I am now over eighty-five, and I sew and read without glasses.
