RADIO PROGRAM No. 46 - The Key to Healing

On this program Mrs. Eleanor H. Brown of Bangor, Maine, told of her own experience, as follows:

One evening I was canning string beans, and after taking the last tray from the oven, I started to tighten the covers on the jars. The first one I touched exploded with great violence, discharging a blast of steam and hot liquid directly into my face. I immediately turned away from pain and fear in my thinking to God—realizing His presence, His healing power, His great love for all His children.

Because of the intense pain and shock, I felt I needed the help of one experienced in healing such situations through prayer, so I went to see a Christian Science practitioner. I felt much calmer, but the fear hadn't entirely disappeared and the pain was still severe. I went to bed and after a little while fell asleep, only to awaken very soon to find that every vestige of the pain and shock had vanished.
