It is with most sincere and heartfelt gratitude that I write this testimony of the wondrous healing power of Christian Science. At a time of great need I was led to turn from trust in material means and place complete trust in Spirit, God, as He is understood through the study of the Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

Though the journey at times has been slow and not without difficulty, it has resulted in continued unfoldment of "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" (Phil. 4:7). Christian Science has brought the answer to business problems of all kinds. When it is correctly applied, it melts all resistance to Truth.

I should like to relate a healing which came about when I was reading Science and Health the very first time. I had read but a few pages when I felt impelled to put out the cigarette I was smoking. I have not smoked in the five years since then. The false appetite of social drinking was overcome at the same time.
