The branch churches and Christian Science Societies in the Field are continually broadening their activities, and each year letters are received reporting many interesting, new developments. It has been customary to read excerpts from such reports at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church in order that those in attendance may share in this good news. This is done in accordance with the provision of Article XIII, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, calling for "general reports from the Field." As many representative reports are shared in this way as the time allotted to this part of the program permits. Letters are welcomed from branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies telling of their activities and special steps of progress during the past year. These reports maybe sent in by branch churches and societies individually, or by churches and societies in the same locality jointly.

In order that ample time may be given to the consideration of the reports sent in from the churches and societies for use at the Annual Meeting to be held on June 7 this year, it will be helpful to have them in the office of The Christian Science Board of Directors as early as possible, and not later than April 15.
