TO THE ARTIST AND WRITER

Evelyn Ring

In your hand, the brush or pen,
On the page, your name,
But by His power the work is done;
No lesser power claim.
Every thought of self erase;
Let there be outlined
Pure expressions of self grace,
Images of Mind.
Place your work now in God's care;
With Him leave the rest,
So shall it go forth like a prayer,
And all concerned be blessed.
