CHRISTIAN SCIENCE AS OLD AS GOD

The truths of Christian Science are not new. They present the eternal laws of God whereby He rules the universe. These laws can never be ignored, altered, or overruled. Disobedience to them brings inevitable suffering. Obedience results in unlimited blessings.

The story of Adam and Eve, in the Bible, is typical of the problems and difficulties which come to men when they fail to acknowledge and obey divine law as revealed in Christian Science. In this allegory Adam and Eve were told that they should not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which represents the beliefs of life and intelligence in matter. All must sooner or later abandon the belief of life in matter and accept the spiritual way of living. This fact is summarized in the Biblical command (Isa. 2:22), "Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?" Why not begin today?
