THANKSGIVING
For
what shall I give thanks?
For Christian Science.
Opening the Scripture treasure to my eyes;
Illuming the Word of God, which daily shows me
That right at hand the needed answer lies.
For what shall I give thanks?
For constant guidance,
For reason linked with revelation's light;
For grace to carry on an unselfed purpose
That seeks to follow only what is right.
For what shall I give thanks?
For feet firm planted,
Like those at Plymouth Rock on freedom's shore,
And for our Leader, who revealed to us
The Rock of Truth, on which we stand secure.
