I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science, given to us in the writings of Mrs. Eddy. I am thankful for many years of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for the periodicals, and for class instruction, as well as for all the other activities of The Mother Church. Also I am grateful for the members of my family, who recognize God's government and guidance.

During my long and peaceful life of more than ninety years I have experienced many blessings. For the loving help of the practitioners who have aided me, I wish to express my gratitude and appreciation. My daughter was healed of a tumor after being urged by two physicians to submit to an operation. Of her own accord she went to ask help from a Christian Science practitioner, and she was quickly and permanently healed.

On the occasion of our fiftieth wedding anniversary preparations were made for its celebration at the home of our son. On the evening of the day to be observed I felt that it would be impossible for me to attend, as I was overcome with fatigue. Knowing that God could help me, I called the practitioner mentioned above and asked for help. She supported me with statements of Truth and encouraged me to get ready and go to our son's home as planned. When I did so, I discovered that I was fully healed. The spiritual uplift of this experience continued with me for some days. More recently, I was healed of a growth on my face when I realized that a material growth cannot adhere to a spiritual idea.
