RADIO PROGRAM No.61 - Purification of Thought Brings Healing

On this program Mrs. Jennie E. Goad of Detroit. Michigan, told of her own experience, as follows:

Many years ago I experienced a severe attack of arthritis while struggling with hate and resentment over inharmonious home conditions. There was no rest or peace of mind except in drugged sleep. Physicians offered no hope of recovery and said that a heart condition aggravated by constant coughing would grow steadily worse. Dreaded complications set in, followed by application of a drug which left me completely helpless.

My sister was a Christian Scientist and on occasion had left copies of the Christian Science periodicals. The family had been mindful of the change in my sister's health since she became interested in Christian Science, but resentment and resistance had prevented our applying this religion to our needs.
