Several years before I was married...

Several years before I was married a childhood friend of my mother's, who was a student of Christian Science, healed me of a nervous condition so extreme that I could not sleep at night. After my healing it was as if the nervous condition had never been.

I did not take up the study of Christian Science, however, until some years later. Since then I have learned much about God as the only Mind. Jesus said (Matt. 7:7), "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." I have done these things, and as a result, all of my family have benefited from Christian Science.
