ERROR ONLY LOOKS BIG

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Roy is a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School. There he has been told many interesting stories from the Bible, and there he has learned some of the truths Mary Baker Eddy has put in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Roy always loved the story in the Bible of David and Goliath and wanted to hear it over and over again. He admired David's bravery when he said to King Saul, as they talked about the great giant, Goliath (I Sam. 17:32), "Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine."

Of course, Roy knew that David was brave because he trusted in God and knew that God was the only power. That was why, when he met the giant, David wasn't afraid. He didn't see a great big problem, because he was counting on God to help him. He proved this, because what seemed to be a big error was destroyed, and young David was not even hurt.
