I have been a student of Christian Science for forty-one years. During this period I have experienced many healings. One of them was the healing of pneumonia. At that time I had reason to be extremely grateful for the nurses who are trained in the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, or San Francisco, California. The tender care they gave me in ministering to all my physical comforts, and the spiritual understanding they expressed were support beyond any I had previously received.

A number of years ago, when I was superintendent of a Christian Science Sunday School, I became so absorbed in preparing a paper for a teachers' meeting that a tooth which had been troubling me was healed. The subject of my paper

was "Christ," and it was quite natural that the work on it should result in healing, for I looked up all the references on that subject both in the Bible and in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy.
