For more than twelve years...
For more than twelve years Christian Science has been my constant support and healer. It is truly the Comforter promised by Jesus.
At the beginning of the Second World War my husband was in the Royal Air Force. To be with him I left our home near London with our baby son and a daughter. One day I met a stranger who spoke to me of Christian Science, recommending that I visit a practitioner if I wished to know more about it. I did this, although for some years I had thought I was satisfied with agnosticism.
The practitioner spoke to me of God and gave me Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy to take home with me. I read it through, but I felt that all I understood was that there is no matter. Then I read it through twice again and began to practice what I was learning.
