DOES NINE TIMES EIGHT EQUAL SEVENTY-FOUR?

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Anne stood waiting outside the school building for her new friend, Gretchen. It's fun to have so many new things, thought Anne— new town, new home, new school, new friends, and best of all a new Sunday School.

A whole new world had indeed opened for her. A few months before, Anne's mother had been very ill, and her father had been worried about her mother's illness and his business. Then the most wonderful thing happened. A kind and happy woman moved into the house next door and told them about Christian Science.

Anne smiled as she thought that now her mother was well and happy again, her father had a fine new position, and they had a pretty house in this new town. She knew that all this had come about through the understanding of God and His love that Christian Science had given them. Besides, there was the Christian Science church—only a few blocks from their house—where she had met Gretchen. Gretchen was in the same grade at day school and lived only a short distance from Anne's house. Anne's new world was full and running over with happiness.
