[There] is a fine purpose in our living and a great plan for our own lives. As one who does believe in the mastery of a greater Mind—I call such a mind, God—I cannot help but feel that with such endowments and through such gifts each one of us has great purpose here on earth. Our being is greater than flesh and bones. Our endowments are larger than bricks and machines. Our thoughts are finer than stocks and bonds; we are the handiwork of God in a world to be made beautiful.
