Signs of the Times
Henry Geerlings in an article in the Evening Sentinel Holland, Michigan
The opportunities of the new year can be classified as the opportunity to be somebody and the opportunity to do something. Being will lead to doing. Doing will be the fruit of being. We shall seek to be doers as well as hearers. Our Christian living will result in ... active service. For the coming year we can be inspired by the message of the Apostle Paul when he says that a great and effectual door is opened. The new year will be an open door of opportunity.
