I should like to express my gratitude for the freedom I have found through the study and practice of Christian Science. From small beginnings proof of this freedom is expanding into all my affairs. Belief in a sound physical constitution as the basis of health has been exchanged for a growing understanding that it is our Father-Mother God who preserves our health.

With my desire to join The Mother Church came the need to gain my freedom from smoking, which I had indulged in for over twenty years. I am most grateful that we are required to express the purity and sweetness that release from this habit brings. Dominion over smoking was followed by the blessing of membership in The Mother Church and later by class instruction from a devout teacher.

Several years ago an instantaneous healing of influenza clearly proved the healing power of Christian Science. Not only was relief immediate, but the practitioner who helped me presented the truth so clearly that I have never had a return of this condition, even during so-called epidemics of it.
