I wish to acknowledge the blessings which Christian Science has brought to me. My first demonstration of God's love, shortly after I came into Christian Science eighteen years ago, was the overcoming of fear of my mother's passing on. I had had this fear since I was a small child, loving her so much that I was beset with the thought, "What if she passed on?"

Then the precious truth of Christian Science came to me, giving me peace and teaching me of the Father-Mother God. Since then I have never had any fear that my mother and I could ever in reality be separated. Another healing was that of a cyst on my head. Through my application of Christian Science it opened, drained, and healed within three days.

May I humbly express my feeling of gratitude in the words of Mrs. Eddy, the greatest benefactor to mankind since Christ Jesus. She says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 151): "God is our Father and our Mother, our Minister and the great Physician: He is man's only real relative on earth and in heaven. David sang, 'Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.'"—(Mrs.) Jane W. Foote, Detroit, Michigan.
