Christian Science came into my life at a time of much unhappiness. When my mother attended Sunday service at a Church of Christ, Scientist, it seemed as if a voice directed me to accompany her. After that service my whole viewpoint on life changed, and I felt that I had been born again.

An existence which had been plagued by continual illness and discontent has been exchanged for one of bountiful well-being. In more than ten years I have not lost a day from business or from church duties because of sickness.

Through my reading and pondering an article in the Sentinel which explained that when we humbly try to free ourselves from destructive criticism we improve our spiritual vision, I was enabled to dispense with eyeglasses, which I had worn for ten years. I have also been healed of yearly winter colds, stomach trouble, weak arches, and many other ills.
